These exercise classes in Sheffield run over the course of 8 weeks. They’re suitable for women of all ages and abilities and take place at various locations across our vibrant city.
The reason the classes are for women only? There are a few;

What do Thrive’s exercises classes in Sheffield entail?
Forget hardcore bootcamps and generic workouts. Our exercise classes in Sheffield are targeted, enjoyable and guaranteed to strengthen the pelvic floor.
Classes include a range of exercises and movements thar will optimise how the pelvic floor functions. This helps women overcome issues like pain, prolapse and incontinence; three common symptoms of a pelvic floor that isn’t working as well as it should.
The aim of the exercise classes in Sheffield are to empower women with the knowledge and tools they need. This means they can continue the exercises long after the course has finished, and enjoy a pain-free and leak-free life. We take into account any concerns or challenges our attendees may have when they first join the course. For example, we avoid any exercises that place undue pressure on the pelvic floor, like jumping and heavy lifting.
And, as our attendees build their strength, we increase the intensity of the classes. The class is designed to help strengthen the pelvic floor over the entirety of the 8 weeks. So every week we take incremental steps towards building strength.

What to expect at each class?
At Thrive, we know that knowledge is key to stopping leaks. So, at each Pelvic Strength exercise class, we’ll focus on body and mind, with post workout talks about your pelvic floor, to help you understand your body and the changes it goes through. Easy win hints, tips and homework are provided to help you capitalise on the work you do in class and ensure your symptom free journey continues even after the programme has ended.
The Pelvic Strength exercise class is about connecting your pelvic floor to your body. It will help you master pelvic strength exercises and integrate them into your life. So you can live your best life, without the fear of leaks holding you back.
Exercise classes are a safe space for women to exercise, ask questions and feel empowered. The programme is for women only, with a maximum of 8 participants in each cohort and each class lasts 1 hour. Classes are not suitable for new mums less than 6 weeks postnatally.
