Why Pelvic Floor Strengthening Matters

Your pelvic floor is an amazing group of muscles that supports your bladder, bowel, and uterus (if you have one). It plays a crucial role in everyday movements, yet it’s often overlooked.

For many women, leaking when sneezing, laughing, or exercising can feel like just another part of life. But here’s the truth: while leaks are common, they’re not normal—and they can be fixed! Strengthening your pelvic floor isn’t just about doing kegels; it’s about engaging your whole body to work in harmony.

What to Expect from the Classes

Our classes are interval-style training sessions, blending targeted pelvic floor exercises with full-body movements to ensure your whole system works together. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Who Are These Classes For?

These classes are for all women, regardless of fitness level. You don’t need prior experience to join—just a willingness to take charge of your health.

Feeling nervous? Don’t be! Thrive’s Pelvic Strength Classes are held in women-only groups of no more than twelve participants. This ensures a supportive and non-judgmental environment where everyone feels at ease.

Your instructor, Róisín, modify exercises to suit your needs and provide personal guidance to ensure every move is safe and effective.
