Creating a
Safe Space

We know there’s a taboo around pelvic strength, which often makes it hard to find out information about it. Which is why Thrive events provide a new way for women to learn about their bodies, destigmatise health concerns and, more importantly, empower you through knowledge.

Our venues provide a cosy space, where you can put your feet up, have a brew and feel like you’re having a chat with your friends. No topic is off the menu – we talk about a lot more than pelvic strength!

Whether coming along with a friend or attending alone, Thrive makes all Sheffield women feel instantly at home so chat can flow with ease, questions don’t feel silly and excitement about a leak free life is palpable.

Upcoming Events

Monday 3rd March, 12pm – Online Pelvic Power Talk

Pelvic floor exercises = just do your Kegels, right? Not quite.

I’m so excited to be part of Sheffield Women’s Health Week 2025, leading a free, myth-busting online session all about leaks, pelvic floor weakness, and why “just squeezing” isn’t always the answer.

We’ll dive into how your pelvic floor actually works, why it’s about so much more than individual muscles, and—most importantly—what you can do to build real pelvic strength that supports you in everyday life.

This talk is for you if:

  • You’ve ever leaked when sneezing, running, or lifting and thought, “Is this normal?”
  • You’re tired of vague advice and want practical, science-backed solutions
  • You want to feel more in control of your body at any stage of life

You’ll walk away with simple, effective strategies to reduce leaks, improve core strength, and feel more confident in your movement—without obsessing over endless Kegels.

This session is completely free—sign up now and bring your questions!

Pelvic Strength Class Taster – Wednesday 5th March, 11:30am

Your pelvic floor is so much more than just a set of muscles to squeeze—it’s part of your whole body movement. And when it comes to building real strength and control, Kegels alone won’t cut it.

That’s why I’m running a free Pelvic Strength Class taster at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EISS) as part of Sheffield Women’s Health Week 2025. This session is designed to help you move with confidence, improve bladder control, and strengthen your pelvic floor in a way that actually works for your body.

We’ll focus on:

  • Full-body movement (because your pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation!)
  • Mobility & strength to support bladder control and core stability
  • Simple, effective exercises that fit into everyday life—no squeezing on the sofa required

This session is for all fitness levels and is perfect whether you’re looking to prevent leaks, improve symptoms, or just feel stronger and more in control of your body.

Join me on Wednesday 5th March, 11:30am-12:30pm at EISS and see what a whole-body approach to pelvic health really looks like.

Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot!

Thrive x Believe & Achieve Gym – Bits & Boobies: How Breast Support Affects Your Pelvic Floor

Wednesday 19th March at 7pm on Zoom

Your sports bra isn’t just about comfort—it could be affecting your pelvic floor too!

After the amazing response to my January talk, I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Believe & Achieve Gym again for another free online session—this time tackling a topic you might not have linked to leaks before… breast support!

Join me on Wednesday 19th March at 7pm on Zoom as we chat about:

  • How breast weight, bra selection, and even gravity impact your body when you move
  • Why the wrong support could be contributing to leaks, aches, and posture issues
  • Practical, easy-to-implement tips to help you feel comfortable, confident, and supported in every workout

Whether you’re a runner, lifter, or just trying to stay active without discomfort, this session will leave you informed, empowered, and ready to move without worry.
