We combine pelvic floor exercises, breath work, bodyweight strengthening, aerobic workouts, and core-focused movements to give you a full-body, results-driven experience.

Our Approach

Our Pelvic strength class in Sheffield is backed by research and designed to ensure long term pelvic floor strength. We blend effective pelvic floor exercises with bodyweight training, breath work, aerobic fitness, and core strengthening. So your pelvic floor re-learns how to work effectively, no matter what life throws at you.

The 8 week programme takes your pelvic floor through its paces in a safe, graded, expert-led space. You will feel supported and empowered to challenge your strength and build lasting pelvic floor changes.

Róisín O’Bentley, our founder and expert physiotherapist, will guide you through a fun and varied workout. Prepare to get your sweat on! The classes gradually build up your pelvic floor strength and endurance by taking it through a graded programme.

  1. We start with floor-based, low impact, full body exercises that help you to activate your pelvic floor with movement.
  2. Over the following weeks, the class then gradually guides you through more challenging exercises in both sitting and standing. This allows your pelvic floor to adapt and strengthen with each new challenge.
  3. Finally, we’ll introduce you to more dynamic movements such as jumping and running. This ensures that your pelvic floor can hold its own, no matter what life throws at it!
  4. With every increase in challenge, you will be supported every step of the way by our expert physiotherapist, so that you know when the best time is to progress to the next level.

Classes last 1 hour and include 40 minutes of exercises followed by a cool down session full of hints and tips to keep your pelvic floor thriving between classes.
From beginners to fitness enthusiasts, this class is perfect for anyone looking to improve their pelvic health, stop and prevent leaks, or enhance their overall strength.

*Please note the programme is for women only. Classes are not suitable for women less than 12 weeks postnatal.

Where It Happens

Classes are on Thursday morning at 11am and take place exclusively at TRIB3 Sheffield, a boutique fitness studio that delivers an exciting, results-focused atmosphere.
Our next pelvic strength exercise starts on  10th October 2024 and places are strictly limited.
